Samsung Captivate XtremeGUARD and Black Silicone Case Review

As soon as I got my Captivate, I wanted to get a case and screen protector to protect my phone. Even though there were a lot of options for cases and screen protectors, most of the comments that I read were negative so I decided to buy some cheap ones at first and then later on get some better ones. I was searching and found the following:

and here’s my review…

XtremeGUARD Full Body Screen protector.

It took me about 30 minutes to apply it. It’s very easy and I barely got any bubbles and the few that I got went away after  a few hours. I like the shiny look it gives my captivate on the back and I don’t even feel the screen protector, the screen responsiveness hasn’t changed a bit for me. When I was applying the screen protector I scratched it with the provided card but this was my mistake and I already ordered 2 more. When you are preparing your water and dish liquid mixture, let it sit for 10-15 minutes or until the bubbles go away, this will make it a whole lot easier when applying it. Here are some pictures:

Black Silicone Base

I only wanted the black silicone case but it came with some extras so I don’t mind. The black silicone case is really good. It protects the phone from the back and it gives it a good grip when holding it. For the price, I recommend it. The only bad thing is that when you put it in your jean pocket is a little hard to take it out but other than that is very good. Here are some pictures:
